"Chase Liquid has helped more than a million people gain access to mainstream banking and adding online bill pay will make it easier for customers to pay their everyday bills," said Chris Henry, head of Product Management for Chase Consumer and Business Banking.

Starting in November, Chase Liquid customers will have access to new features:

Pay bills online at Chase.com or using the Chase Mobile® app
Use Chase QuickPay to send money to other people using the recipient's email address or mobile phone number
Transfer funds out of Chase Liquid to other Chase accounts

Customers can continue to make purchases and pay bills anywhere Visa® is accepted - including online.

Chase has been working closely with national and regional community advisory groups for months to ensure its Chase Liquid enhancements can help even more people have access to mainstream banking services.

"Chase's decision to add bill payment capabilities to Chase Liquid is more than just good news for the tens of millions of people who have been underserved by mainstream banking," said Jonathan Mintz, president and chief executive officer of the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund. "It's also of immense importance for the Bank On programs across the country looking to connect unbanked and underbanked consumers, and a major step forward in the unmistakable shift of the consumer banking marketplace toward financial inclusion."

Chase Liquid comes with a flat monthly fee of $4.95 and there is no additional charge to:
