JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced today that its US-based employees can now expense Uber rides for work travel.
The move will give over 100,000 employees from locations across the country access to Uber's expanding presence and seamless experience when traveling for business purposes or going home after a late night in the office.
"Allowing our employees to use Uber for business travel just makes sense," said Trish Wexler, Chase's Chief Communications
Officer. "It's cost efficient for the company, and convenient for our employees."
"JPMorgan Chase is a recognized leader in financial services, and we are thrilled they are choosing Uber for Business as a recommended transportation option for employees," said Emil Michael, SVP of Business at Uber. "Over 70% of the United States is within 10 minutes or less of an Uber, and we look forward to connecting JPMorgan Chase employees with a safe, reliable and affordable ride whenever and wherever they need one."
