The new market data widgets change the way websites source and display market data to their users. The new partnership will package together cloud market data and user-centric HTML5, providing clients with a more cost-effective and user-friendly tool to deliver a superior experience across the web, tablets and smartphones.

The new offerings include:

• MarketX – a full-featured market data widget with quotes, charts and news, for financial websites and portals, such as media and investor websites

• InvestorX – an investor relations solution for publicly traded companies with timely news, financials and charting

• ChartX – an interactive charting financial widget with market data, offering advanced studies and technical charting styles ideal for advanced systems, such as proprietary brokerage platforms

• CalendarX – an economic events calendar widget for investors and financial portals with current economic events and announcements

“As the leader in HTML5 financial charting, we wanted to expand and offer a full-feature financial information toolkit to our customers,” said Dan Schleifer, co-founder and president of ChartIQ. “By partnering with Xignite, we’re able to deliver a combined solution with real-time and historical market data, the best in HTML5 design, all at a lower cost to our clients.”

The new responsive widgets can be custom-tailored to the look and feel of each site and can seamlessly deliver timely financial data to any website, with no coding or expensive market data feeds required.

“A significant amount of the widgets found on the market today are zombies, and we’ve seen little to no innovation in the space since the 1990s. With device-fed millennials coming en masse to the market, there is an opportunity to provide stunning widgets that can dramatically lift the user experience,” said Stephane Dubois, founder and CEO of Xignite.

“We are combining our large, highly-scalable API catalog with ChartIQ’s stunning graphics to create displays that are seamless and beautiful. The new widgets, featuring ChartIQ’s superior charting, bring our data to life for clients, helping them to engage and retain users,” added Dubois. “The public cloud has become a cradle for fintech innovation and this partnership is only one example of what is to come from this fast-moving ecosystem.”

The new widgets are available immediately, packaged with the client’s choice of international equities, futures and forex data.
