Jive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: JIVE) today announced that IRESS, a leading financial markets, wealth management, and lending software company, has deployed Jive to foster a more unified, collaborative global workforce.

The company's Jive-powered internal community will help IRESS speed product development, improve customer support and grow institutional knowledge by providing a central hub for all communications, collaboration and content sharing across 1,350 people in fourteen offices worldwide.

IRESS is growing rapidly and has acquired 15 businesses since its founding in 1993. The company employs people across software engineering, financial, and client facing disciplines who work continuously on several different products for financial services clients throughout Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Jive's solutions will help IRESS increase employee engagement by driving better cross-departmental collaboration, problem solving and strategic alignment, while minimizing inefficient broad distribution emails.

"Our entire business is focused on building innovative software and supporting it with progressive services for our customers around the world, and Jive's enterprise communications and collaboration platform helps us further this mission by effortlessly connecting all of our employees and giving them a place to get real work done," said Steve Barnes, COO at IRESS. "Over the years, we've tried several traditional intranet and document storage tools, but none of them have delivered a modern collaborative hub that's so central to everyone's daily work. Jive is the ideal solution to help broaden IRESS' collaboration efforts and drive our efficiency, because it lets people work from anywhere using the tools they prefer, within a trusted and secure environment – a critical aspect of our selection."

Launched in late 2014, IRESS' new collaboration hub is already helping the company nurture more collaborative workstyles and gain transparency into valuable intellectual property spread across its global business. Named "The Wire," this community provides one ss. In addition, the company's support teams are sharing information and best practices that enrich the service they provide to clients. The Wire also provides a channel for executive communications and collaboration around key strategic initiatives.

"IRESS is providing solutions and services to a very demanding clientele – members of global financial services. We're pleased to help this innovative company surpass its customers' expectations by unifying and aligning a brilliant workforce," said Robert Yue, vice president of Asia Pacific, Jive Software. "With its Jive-powered community, IRESS benefits from a core business productivity solution that every part of the company can use to work better together and drive real business value through collaboration."

SocialEdge, a Jive consulting partner, designed and implemented IRESS' mobile-enabled internal community, successfully rolling out Jive to all of the company's employees worldwide. The Wire integrates with IRESS' email, document management and unified communications tools – including instant messaging, video and voice – from Microsoft and Cisco, so employees can seamlessly interact with each other directly from their collaboration system.
