Cassiopae, a global provider of finance and asset portfolio management software, announces that Scania Financial Services, the financial services arm of the major Swedish manufacturer of heavy trucks and buses, has selected Cassiopae's vehicle finance software.

The new contract with Scania further expands the two companies' existing relationship. Scania is already using Cassiopae products in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK. In Spain, Scania Finance will be implementing the latest version of Cassiopae's flagship auto finance software.

Financial services are an important element of Scania's complete product range. The group's mission is to work locally, close to the customer, to ensure a high service level, quick response time, and tailor made solution.

"Our selection of Cassiopae was the result of a long process involving representatives from three business units which cover six markets who were looking for new systems," said Cecilia Karlsson, Head of Process and IS/IT for Scania Financial Services.

Scania Financial Services aims to increase quality and delivery precision towards the end customer through common systems with the new Cassiopae software. The company's goal is to create a standard configuration that can be easily implemented at Scania's financial subsidiaries, wherever they may be located.

"Our previous history in several countries and Cassiopae's strong product, which stood up to our challenging multi-national requirements, made Cassiopae the best choice for Scania Financial Services," said Karlsson.

"With our global footprint and live implementations in 36 countries, Cassiopae has the potential to become the global partner of choice for Scania Finance Group," said Franck Jacovlev, Deputy CEO at Cassiopae in Paris. "We welcome this latest opportunity to support Scania's objectives and further develop our partnership."
