SunGard Valdi has added access to the fixed income market MTS BondVision to its hosted connectivity platform, Valdi Market Access.

By delivering an intuitive and cost-effective service to connect to one of Europe's key bond trading platforms, SunGard continues to help its customers to cover more asset classes through an integrated and outsourced cross-asset technology platform.

MTS BondVision is one of the most extensive fixed income markets, offering access through a large network of global dealers to more than 30 countries’ government securities as well as multi-currency non-government bonds, including a large number of corporate and financial bonds.

“As one of Europe’s leading electronic fixed income trading markets with more than 500 unique counterparties and average daily volumes exceeding EUR 100 billion, selecting the right technology providers is critical. MTS is excited to work with SunGard to help expand the choices of solutions we already offer to our clients worldwide.” - Fabrizio Testa, CEO, MTS.

“Expanding our capabilities in the fixed income electronic trading space is strategic, as our customers increasingly look at combining previously siloed operations into multi-product distribution channels. Changes in the fixed income market structure are pushing electronic trading to become the standard.” - Philippe Carré, global head of connectivity, SunGard’s capital markets business
Banca Generali is one of the first customers to use the fully hosted trading service, which enables traders to benefit from an integrated, multi-asset class platform.

SunGard’s Valdi Market Access hosted solution facilitates integrated access to more than 110 trading venues worldwide, leveraging the global Valdi Market Gateway offering. The Valdi suite of solutions provides access to most European financial markets, covering multiple assets classes, including equities, fixed income, structured products, commodities, futures and options.
