Bell ID, worldwide provider of smart card solutions to multiple vertical markets, today announced the implementation of its ANDiS4EMV solution in partnership with TietoEnator at the headquarters of First Investment Bank (FIBank), Sofia, Bulgaria.

The solution will provide EMV compliance for FIBank's card portfolio as well as a platform for future post-issuance EMV scripting and the issuance and management of multi-application smart cards in later phases.

Initially the ANDiS4EMV solution will integrate with both FIBank's legacy systems and TietoEnator's Card Suite solution to provide data preparation and EMV parameter management so as to enable the issuance of EMV compliant smart cards. Additional phases in the smart card migration strategy are supported by ANDiS4EMV, which provides issuers such as FIBank with the benefit of the following functionalities. These can be implemented as required, an advantage of Bell ID's scaleable, modular product.
  • Fast data preparation
  • Cryptographic key management with integrated Key Management Authority (KMA) support
  • EMV parameter management
  • EMV scripting
  • Chip Authentication Program (CAP) support
  • Static and/or dynamic multi-application management
  • Multi-issuer support
  • Central or branch issuance
  • Post-Issuance Personalisation (PIP) and management
