Key goals for USE Credit Union's ($775 million; 43,459 members; San Diego, CA) mission is to gain a better understanding of its prospective and existing members to more intelligently offer the services they need.
To achieve these goals and more, USE needed a new core processor and soon discovered that Corelation's KeyStone member-centric technology can deliver advanced insight into its member relationships with much more speed and accuracy than it has today. As a result, USE recently signed with Corelation to convert to its KeyStone core in Q4 2015.
"Converting to KeyStone will be a monumental event in USE Credit Union's history. KeyStone's flexibility, open architecture, and use of modern technology will support us in our efforts to achieve our strategic objectives," states USE's President/CEO Jim Harris. "Implementing KeyStone will also improve engagement, deliver enhanced experiences, and help us realize increased efficiencies – in addition to supporting our omni-channel strategy as the main backbone for connecting people and systems.
"More importantly, we have found a strong and long-term partner in Corelation, who not only aligns with our values and strategies, but is also able to bridge the gap of where we are today, where we need to be, and where we want to go," Harris adds.
According to Harris, members asked for an "easy-to-do-business-with" experience, convenience, extended functionality, and always-available systems. Employees, likewise, asked for integrated and easy-to-use systems that allow them to focus their efforts on building member relationships and loyalty. "KeyStone will help us achieve these voice-of-member and voice-of-staff needs," he says.
"We believe USE joining the Corelation family is pretty monumental, too," says Corelation President Theresa Benavidez. "Having such a progressive credit union running KeyStone (in our backyard) will be of great benefit to Corelation. We look forward to working closely with USE's team to help them customize their new system for increased success. These evolving customizations will not only benefit USE and its members but current and future KeyStone credit unions, as well &ndashh; as we enjoy sharing collaborative advancements with our client base so everybody benefits."
Today, Corelation has 13 credit unions live on KeyStone with 29 contracts signed.
