Panini North America announced today that KeyBank's Global Treasury Management group selected the Panini My Vision X scanner for its remote deposit solution, Key Capture.

KeyBank's business customers can use the Panini My Vision X scanner to scan images of their checks and make deposits to the bank without leaving their offices.

Benefits of the Key Capture solution include reduced costs for deposit preparation and transportation, extended deposit windows, and the potential for improved funds availability. To date, Key has thirteen clients using this solution.

"Panini understands the importance of state of the art image technology that facilitates deposit automation and provides us with a foundation for future Check 21 initiatives," stated Debra Sciano, vice president, KeyBank Global Treasury Management Group. "The Panini My Vision X is an integral part of the value-added remote capture solution that we provide to our customers."

The Panini My Vision X, a compact, yet powerful check scanner, reads the check MICR line and captures a high quality, digital image of the front and back of the check. The small footprint, sleek design, and quiet operation of the device allow for easy placement at the branch or in the corporate office location. The bank's remote deposit application, Key Capture, is powered by software from Alogent.

"Our partnership with KeyBank builds on our market leadership and their desire to improve operating efficiencies while optimizing the delivery of superior service to their customers," said Dave Youngerman, president, Panini North America. "We are pleased to help solidify Key's position for maximum benefits realized from early item truncation."
