NCR will provide ABC with software and hardware, including NCR SelfServ 22 and SelfServ 25 ATMs running on the NCR APTRATM Edge software platform, a highly flexible self-service application designed for use in any host environment. The newly purchased solution will be shipped during the third and fourth quarters, together with installation and second-line maintenance services nation-wide.
“This win has once again demonstrated NCR’s leadership position for self-service banking technology solutions and services to the banking industry in China. We are excited in earning the continued recognition and trust in our technology from Agricultural Bank of China over these years. We will continue our commitments in offering the bank a highly secure and available ATM network, making everyday transactions easier for its customers,” said Gary Miao, president, NCR Financial Services in Greater China.
In 2011, NCR also won a service contract from ABC in which NCR will provide hardware maintenance services for all NCR-branded ATMs installed at the bank, approximately 10,000 units.
