The partnership builds on the many years of collaboration between Calypso and SAP in support of SAP Adaptive Server® Enterprise (SAP ASE). It demonstrates Calypso’s continued commitment to deliver even greater business transformation and technology innovation capabilities for complex financial markets.

“We view our partnership with SAP as a powerful force multiplier for our sales and technology strategy,” said Charles Marston, chairman and CEO of Calypso. “Given SAP’s global reach and scale, with thousands of customer relationships inside financial institutions in over 200 countries, we believe it will help to increase our growth opportunities.”

Calypso has more than 25 major customers leveraging technology solutions from Calypso and SAP on SAP ASE. “We see many additional areas where SAP technology will be complementary to Calypso, such as the real-time SAP HANA platform and cloud-based solutions,” added Mr. Marston.

The SAP PartnerEdge program for Application Development is a simple and comprehensive program designed to empower partners to build, market and sell software applications on top of market-leading technology platforms from SAP. It provides the enablement tools, benefits and support to facilitate building high-quality, disruptive applications focused on specific business needs - quickly and cost-effectively. The program provides access to all relevant SAP technologies in one simplified framework under a single, global contract.
