With this partnership in place, Victor Technologies' world-class volatility feeds will be made available to ACTIV data feed subscribers in real-time via ACTIV's global distribution network.

"We are very excited to offer this volatility data product from Victor Technologies to our customer base," said David Bloomer, Director, New Business and Alliances at ACTIV Financial. "Our platform easily integrates with the MVF engine, giving subscribers seamless access to a fully managed solution for real-time risk analytics."

Victor Technologies offers its Market Volatility Feed for US listed equity and index options, with configuration choices for smoothing algorithm, conflation rate, and pricing model. It provides real-time implied volatilities as underlying and option prices move within the marketplace, as well as a full set of Greek values for each option. The rich set of volatility data includes raw implied volatilities for both puts and calls, as well as smoothed and blended volatility curves.

"By providing our volatility data via ACTIV's distribution network, we are helping traders and risk managers make informed decisions and mitigate risk with regards to the derivatives they are trading," said Victor Technologies CEO Robert Newhouse. "Instead of having to pull information from two separate platforms, ACTIV users can access our market-leading volatility feed directly via the ACTIV API, simplifying integration efforts."

ACTIV and VTEK are working toward integrating the ACTIV platform into VTEK's volatility feed, and both firms are ready to discuss implementation and deployment options with interested subscribers.
