Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR), a leading provider of technology-driven solutions for financial firms and corporate issuers globally, and BI-SAM, a leading provider of performance measurement and attribution solutions for the global asset management industry, today announced the launch of Broadridge Investment Management Solutions (IMS) Performance Reporting, exclusively designed for institutional asset managers.
Now, asset managers can have access to performance and attribution as part of an integrated suite that includes order management, portfolio management, risk reporting and a data warehouse; in essence a complete, integrated and bundled solution.
Broadridge Performance Reporting allows investment managers to receive daily performance calculations that are customizable to their needs. Powered by BI-SAM's best-in-class B-One® performance calculation engine and underpinned by Broadridge's Investment Management technology, the solution provides complete performance reporting and absolute attribution analysis across multiple asset classes and dimensions of the business, including true time-weighted returns at multiple levels, internal rates of return at fund level, benchmark comparisons and market segment decomposition.
It enables hedge funds and investment managers to differentiate their own offering by incorporating performance measurement tools with their existing accounting and client reporting platforms. The solution also displays performance metrics conveniently in summary grids and charts, which can be viewed on mobile devices such as iPads.
"There is increasing demand across the investment management industry for more extensive performance reporting and measurement, deliverable without the need to significantly increase technology and operational support. Our solution enables hedge funds and investment managers to meet complex reporting needs through an integrated and customizable tool that eliminates data silos and allows them to increase operating scale and focus more on enhancing their returns and raising new assets," said Bennett Egeth, President, Broadridge Investment Management Solutions. "Clients are looking to consolidate their providers and simplify their infrastructure. This is a major step towards that."
"By combining our award-winning B-One® platform with their unmatched technology, Broadridge's clients will benefit from a powerful, integrated performance reporting solution that helps firms identify and track sources of performance regardless of asset type or portfolio construction," said Alexandre Harkous, CEO, BI-SAM.
The launch of the performance reporting tool further strengthens B-One's leadership position and Broadridge Investment Management Solutions' existing solution set, which provides investment managers, global banks, broker-dealers and fund administrators with comprehensive solutions for investment management, reference data and risk technology including enterprise-wide order management, portfolio management and reporting.
