With $21 billion in assets, Webster Bank provides a variety of business, institutional and consumer financial services through its 166 banking centers and 311 ATMs, as well as via phone, mobile and online banking. In order to serve clients' online banking needs more effectively, improve usability and bring new features to market faster, Webster is moving to ACI's hosted platform from an in-house system.

Following a thorough evaluation, Webster selected ACI's industry-leading online banking platform, Universal Online Banker. Webster's application will run in ACI's secure and fully compliant data center, which hosts banking and payment solutions for more than 4,000 financial institutions, retailers, and billers.

"Because our clients have numerous options when it comes to online banking, it's important to differentiate our product offering in this ultra-competitive market," said Phil Picillo, senior vice president, Treasury & Payment Solutions, Webster Bank. "ACI's platform will help us to provide organizations with an exceptional online banking experience."

"Innovative banks like Webster are turning to our hosted offerings to gain a competitive advantage in online banking," said Jeremy Wilmot, senior vice president and general manager, Americas, ACI Worldwide. "We pride ourselves on being our clients' trusted partner and Webster's decision to host its online banking initiatives with ACI validates this trust. We look forward to supporting Webster's growth now and well into the future."
