The new look simplifies the screen layout and icons enhancing usability and providing a common user interface across all Speakerbus endpoints. The iTurret now supports Japanese in addition to the German language option introduced last year.
Speakerbus have invested heavily in the enhancement of their media gateway capability to support larger deployments in response to customer demand.
Trading networks can extend to thousands of private voice circuits in multiple locations. Speakerbus have introduced Automated Resource Management in this release that enables support teams to add, change and audit services without the need for specialist technical skills. The iG330 Media Gateway has been upgraded to support automated failover to a standby gateway so customers can create self-healing communication infrastructures.
Enterprise management has also received the attention of the Speakerbus developers with additional granular control of user privileges to help manage large voice user populations and automatic device firmware update technology to ensure that everything is running the correct versions in a customer environment. New gateway pairing tools reduce the workload in iManager Portal and VMWare tools can now be installed from the iManager Communications Server command line.
