Having already worked together for 2.5 years, both companies saw the benefits in committing to a multi-year IT services contract. The £45m agreement means that Endava will become Worldpay's primary near shore development Systems Integration partner for their transformation programme to build the next generation of payments platforms along with the ongoing development and support of Worldpay's production systems.

John Cotterell, CEO Endava, commented, "It is extremely exciting to be embarking on this transformation of Worldpay's payments platform at a time when payments online and in the mobile world are taking off to such an incredible extent. It is gratifying that after working so closely with our teams for the past 2 years, Worldpay have formalised our long term partnership. It is testament to the strength of our delivery teams in Eastern Europe."

Rob Hornby, CIO of Worldpay, said, "Worldpay and Endava have developed a strong relationship over the last few years and this new strategic agreement reflects the level of commitment we are both prepared to invest to ensure that we continue to deliver high quality, innovative payments solutions to the market. Worldpay has major growth aspirations and we look forward to working with Endava to meet them."
