Eze Castle Integration, Inc., a leading provider of strategic IT solutions and private cloud services to the investment industry, today announced it has expanded its Information Security Consulting Service to help firms satisfy the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) cybersecurity guidelines.

Eze Castle Integration's experienced consultants will create Written Information Security Policies (WISP) for clients that address the administrative and technical safeguards a firm needs to withstand a cybersecurity incident and demonstrate preparedness.

Cybersecurity threats facing the financial industry are intensifying as is the focus of the SEC to ensure firms are prepared and have detailed information security policies in place. In an April 2014 Risk Alert, the SEC stated it will conduct cybersecurity-focused exams of more than 50 registered broker-dealers and registered investment advisers.

Eze Written Information Security Policies will be delivered by Eze Castle's security and compliance consultants who utilize a proven methodology from assessment through implementation. Key elements include:

Operational and Technical Risk Assessment
Administrative and Technical Security Policies and Procedures
Execute Safeguards
Train and Maintain Program

"Our team has created Written Information Security Policies for clients since 2009 and extending this service to focus on SEC cybersecurity guidelines is a natural extension of our team's experience," said Bob Guilbert, managing director, Eze Castle Integration. "Given our deep knowledge of hedge fund technology and operations, Eze Castle Integration is in a unique position to help clients put the necessary security safeguards in place to protect their firms from cybersecurity attacks and help ensure they meet SEC expectations."
