CAPIS, a leading independent U.S. institutional broker, needed to improve speed of execution while lowering costs. SS&C's Lightning TradeDesk provides a consolidated view of trading with access to positions and risk management. All fixed income trades from Lightning TradeDesk are cleared automatically through Bank of America Merrill Lynch/Broadcort. Through this connectivity, CAPIS is able to monitor trades electronically in real-time via Broadcort systems.

"We replaced our current provider with SS&C's integrated solution. Lightning TradeDesk supports our specific requirements and covers all our front-office operations' trading requirements in a cost-effective way," said David Lee, Vice President, Director of Fixed Income Trading, CAPIS.

"We are pleased to be able to give broker dealers the advanced trading capabilities they need to be more effective, and we are delighted to add CAPIS to our list of broker dealer customers," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. "Lightning TradeDesk simplifies trade processing and provides secure access for our clients, helping them to stay informed and engaged in the process."
