SingTel and Onebip by Neomobile will also support merchants wishing to enter or develop their presence in the Singaporean market, with local promotion and marketing activity.

Mobile payments via direct carrier billing enables merchants to reach new and unbanked customers who prefer to use a simple, secure and fast way of paying for their purchases without the need of a credit card or bank account. With the largest mobile network in Singapore, SingTel's post-paid customers who make up the majority of subscribers will now be able to purchase digital goods and services online from their favourite merchants using Onebip's mobile payment service.
