Moven's financial tools help their customers better understand their financial lives and spend smarter. By implementing MoneyDesktop's API, Moven's customers will immediately notice better account aggregation, more accurate transaction categorization and faster updates. As such, Moven has instantly increased core functionality without losing control of how their users see and interact with their services.

"MoneyDesktop shares our vision and have proven that they will continually push innovation in this space," said Moven CEO Brett King. "The MoneyDesktop API enables our customers to get faster access to aggregated account data that is then used by Moven to inform on financial behavior and money habits. MD has become an essential part of our team in delivering our mission to help our customers Live Rich and Spend Smarter."

Moven sought out a technology partner that matched their passion to innovate and provide industry-best financial tools to their customers. By incorporating MoneyDesktop into the Moven technology stack they now have access to powerful account holder data and they maintain full control over how that data is displayed.

"We love working with companies like Moven who are also passionate and driven to innovate and push the envelope," said MoneyDesktop CEO and founder Ryan Caldwell. "By adding the power of MoneyDesktop's API, Moven is further establishing itself as one of the premiere disrupters in the FinTech industry — they are truly changing the way people interact with their finances. It is exciting to see the industry continue to break ground in offering new technologies that will be essential as we move into the age of always-on, real-time banking."

As another indication of the companies' mutual commitment to helping users understand their finances, MoneyDesktop recently participated in Moven's "Live Rich and Spend Smart" contest. The contest awarded one lucky person $5,000 and a financial makeover by finance expert David Bach. MoneyDesktop's team helped raise awareness and judge the contest that occurred earlier this year.
