Payfirma unveils API

Payfirma, the mobile, online and in-store payments provider, is empowering merchants to accept payments in multiple ways through access to their full solution payment API.

Developers can now use Payfirma's easy-to-integrate API to build versatile products for accepting payments online and on mobile devices, so they can meet the needs of merchants who want to increase their revenue through multichannel payments and gain insight from their consolidated sales data.

"Consumers want to pay when, where and how they like. For businesses to compete and serve these customers, they need to offer a seamless experience across mobile, web and in-store shopping," says Michael Gokturk, Payfirma CEO. "Now any merchant can provide an omni-channel payment experience by using our simple API to build custom payment solutions with access to reporting and analytics - the first of its kind in the known universe!"

Payfirma's API can be used to accommodate the needs of any business whether launching an online store or integrating Payfirma's mobile payment app with their own iOS or Android offering. Developers don't have to look elsewhere if they need additional solutions like customer vault functionality for securely storing credit card information or recurring billing to schedule automated payments. For the first time, all of these features are available in one place and on a secure platform that takes away developer concerns for PCI compliance.

"This API was created in response to the growing number of businesses that see the benefits of selling across multiple channels," says Gokturk. "Our research shows 76% of Payfirma's customers are requesting multichannel solutions when it comes to accepting payments."

Building products with Payfirma's API means having the flexibility to add on more services, features or payment channels as a business grows. The API integrates seamlessly with Payfirma's full suite of products including the Mobile Payment App, Tablet POS, Web Terminal and Recurring Billing as well as Payfirma's cloud based platform that provides interactive reporting and real time sales data for all payment channels.

Access to the API coincides with the launch Payfirma's Developers Center, an online resource with step-by-step instructions, sample code, plugins and documentation that make building products with Payfirma simple and developer-friendly.
