NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, and INETCO Systems Limited, a leading provider of transaction monitoring and analytics solutions for the banking and payment processing industries, today announced that Sinergia has chosen a combined NCR APTRA™ Vision and INETCO Insight® software solution to monitor real-time service delivery and improve customer service.

The solution will be deployed to more than 165 rural banks and 2,000 ATMs that run on the Banche di Credito Cooperativo network in Italy.

Founded in 2012, Sinergia is the result of a merger between Cesecoop, Soar, UPF and Iside Spa. The objective of the merger was to provide rural banks throughout Italy with a centralized, standardized infrastructure that makes it easy to achieve operational excellence and optimal cost-effectiveness.

"Sinergia is now able to extend our service to a larger base of banks, and provide the multi-vendor ATM monitoring, multi-application maintenance and transaction analytics that our customers demand," said Marco Monti, Banking Services Vice President at Sinergia. "This enables Sinergia to guarantee ATM availability, identify fraudulent behaviour anomalies, such as cash trapping, and deliver undisrupted services to all our customers. The INETCO Insight end-to-end transaction monitoring capabilities, bundled with NCR APTRA Vision, enables this by providing a powerful, cost effective solution that is far superior to any performance monitoring solution on the market today."

NCR APTRA Vision is a multi-vendor ATM management system used by financial institutions all over the world to proactively manage and improve ATM uptime and availability. The INETCO Insight transaction monitoring software complements APTRA Vision by providing real-time alerting and end-to-end visibility into consumer transactions once they are initiated at an ATM or any other customer-facing touch point such as a mobile application, kiosk or online banking application. Detailed notifications reveal when transactions from a certain card type, ATM terminal ID, EFT network, switch, or service type are failing. Together, these technologies help improve both operational efficiency and consumer satisfaction by decreasing the number of transaction failures or slowdowns, improving ATM availability and identifying performance issues prior to in-bound customer complaints. .

"Sinergia is able to improve ATM up-time and improve customer experience with a single, standardized view of their increasingly complex ATM network infrastructure," said Ruth Fornell, vice president of Software and Services, NCR Financial Services. "With APTRA Vision and INETCO Insight, financial institutions now have unparalleled access to data, actionable management insight and control - no matter how complex and busy their network."
