The B2 Group provider of cloud based payments, FX and funds STP software and consultancy solutions to transaction banks and corporates across the globe announced today the opening of the B2 Customer Development and Training Centre in Luxembourg's European Business and Banking Centre.

The facility, which is within walking distance of the Luxembourg airport with convenient motorway links to France, Belgium and Germany, will not only cater for training in B2 software products for payments, FX and investment funds, but also specific services such as client migration for cash and treasury. The location was also chosen for its proximity to quality, value for money hotel accommodation for clients attending residential courses.

The new B2 Customer Development and Training Centre is another milestone in the company's growth strategy, reflecting the increasing demand for straight through processing automation services, especially for host to host channel banking integration in The B2 Group's core operational territories of Europe, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. The B2 Group will relocate the fast growing Bank Integration Development Team in the new facility, maintaining the company headquarters and high availability data centres in Luxembourg City. The company also has a sales and customer support office in the City of London.

Phil Boland, Chief Executive Officer, The B2 Group commented: "The opening of our new development and training facility is another significant step forward in our on-going commitment to effective customer service. Our client base is diverse and widespread so that delivering training effectively across wide spread geographical locations is expensive and very time consuming. This was especially true of large capital projects such as banks who are migrating corporate clients to a new banking platform. Now we can offer a new facility, with all of the required access to technology, infrastructure and subject matter experts under one roof. From the new centre, we are also able to deliver virtual training to our more remotely located clients so they are also gaining the very latest skills and knowledge. All in all, a more efficient and cost effective service can be delivered."
