OptionsCity Hosting gives clients hosted versions of Metro, the company's flagship trading and risk management platform for professional traders and market-makers, and Freeway, its multi-asset automated trading solution. In addition, trading institutions can use this infrastructure to gain reliable, low-latency market access, while lowering operational costs. OptionsCity engaged in this initiative based on client need for a bundled solution for its software coupled with hosting to trade on exchanges, such as the CME, NYMEX, ICE, LIFFE, and EUREX.

"The addition of a global hosting infrastructure is a natural progression of OptionsCity's offering. Being able to offer a complete solution that incorporates both software and hosting allows us to better serve our customers, and prepares us for the next generation of OptionsCity software," said Rudy Fasouliotis, CIO of OptionsCity Software.

OptionsCity Hosting features both proximity and colocation hosting in strategic data center locations across the U.S. and Europe, and leverages data centers in Chicago, Aurora, New Jersey, London, Frankfurt, and Basildon. Technical advantages of OptionsCity Hosting include high quality network performance, low latency connectivity and a redundant, fault-tolerant, scalable and secure infrastructure.

"By leveraging connectivity at major data centers, our clients can cut capital and operational costs while improving application performance and increasing business flexibility," added Fasouliotis.
