OptionsCity, a leading provider of electronic trading solutions, today announced its connectivity to Eurex Exchange, one of the world's largest derivatives exchanges.
Eurex Exchange lists some of the world's most actively traded futures and options including European benchmark contracts like DAX Futures, EURO STOXX 50 Index Futures and Bund Futures. This news follows OptionsCity's September 9th announcement that it was opening a new office in London to support expansion into the European market.
"We are delighted to welcome customers of OptionsCity to Eurex and to extend the connectivity choices for our own clients," commented Michael Peters, Global Head of Marketing & Sales at Eurex Frankfurt AG. "It is important for us to have top trading platforms offer our benchmark European contracts, demanded by an increasing number of globally-focused market participants."
"Our connectivity to Eurex Exchange demonstrates our commitment to arm our customers with the most reliable access to the world's key liquidity venues," said Jerald David, Chief Business Development Officer of OptionsCity Software. "We are also pleased to provide global traders connecting to Eurex Exchange with the high-performance trading platforms that they require."
OptionsCity Metro and OptionsCity Freeway are the company's two core software offerings. Metro is a fully configurable electronic trading and market making platform that gives traders full control over trading, safety and risk management. Metro fully integrates with Freeway, OptionsCity's multi-asset automated trading solution that offers traders and developers a complete algorithmic developmental environment coupled with powerful execution capabilities.
