DataSpace, the leading operator of Tier III certified data centers in Moscow was selected by Orient Express Bank, one of the largest and fastest growing top 30 banks in Russia, as its data center facilities partner.

Sergey Vlasov, the CEO of Orient Express Bank: "We have been consistently modernizing our information processing systems to be the best available on the market and decided we needed to have the most secure and reliable premises for these systems. The bank carefully evaluated the option of building and operating its own facility but decided these highly reliable data centers are very complex and best left to those who professionally build and manage them. DataSpace was by far the best solution for our requirements and we chose their Moscow data center for colocation services. It's a long-term partnership."

DataSpace is the first certified Tier III Facility providing colocation services in Russia. Their 6200 sq m data centerDataSpace1 is located in the Moscow central area, 15 minutes from the Kremlin, in a stand-alone building with concurrently maintainable infrastructure for clients who position its business continuity as a critical factor.

DataSpace CEO, David Hamner: "We continue to see major Russian banks adopting the highest standards of security and reliability on their decisions about facilities that support their information processing. Orient Express Bank has shown the model of outsourcing these complex data center functions is the most cost effective and secure solution, when risk management and its associated investment are taken into account. It is a significant contract. A major commitment by both parties. A substantial take-up of our first Tier III site in Moscow. We are delighted to have the opportunity to count Orient Express Bank among our prestigious customer community."
