Tieto and Arek, developer and provider of earnings-based pension information system services in Finland, have signed a five-year agreement on application management services.
The agreement covers service management, continuous maintenance, version projects, service desk operations and consulting. To deliver the services, Tieto will utilize the delivery centre it is establishing in Pune, India. The centre focuses on application management in the pension insurance sector.
Tieto has already long supplied Arek with services in the same application domain, but with this new service, the service model will be completely renewed.

Furthermore, it ensures that our customer can achieve significant cost savings compared to the former operating model", says Christian Segersven, Vice President at Tieto.
