Xoom Corporation, a leading digital money transfer provider, announced today its partnership with Red Pocket Mobile, a leading contract-free wireless service provider, to offer Red Pocket subscribers integrated access to Xoom's mobile and desktop global money transfer sites.

Starting today, Red Pocket subscribers can visit xoom.com/Redpocket or GoRedPocket.com/partners from their smartphone or desktop computer to initiate an international money transfer to friends and family in 30 countries. Red Pocket customers will be able to sign up for Xoom to send money to friends and family in Latin America, the Philippines, India, Europe, Canada, Australia and South Africa.

"Partnering with Red Pocket further propels Xoom's expansion into the mobile domain," said Julian King, Xoom's Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development. "Red Pocket has become known for exceptional mobile service that includes many loyal subscribers in America's immigrant population who still have strong ties to family and friends in their home countries. At Xoom, we're changing the way money transfers have typically been done by offering our customers a digital service on desktop and mobile that is safe, convenient and very fast."

"Xoom brings another exciting value-added product to Red Pocket Mobile's innovative, multi-carrier wireless service offering," said Dean Wong, Red Pocket Mobile's Vice President of Business Development. "We're proud to offer Xoom's digital money transfer service to our rapidly-growing customer base."

Xoom and Red Pocket Mobile made this announcement at the Money2020 conference taking place this week in Las Vegas. Xoom CEO John Kunze will be speaking on a panel entitled "International Transfers and FX: Consumer Solutions," on Tuesday, October 8, from 5:20 - 6:05 PM at the Aria Convention Center (room Juniper 3 on the third floor).
