BankDhofar announced yesterday the launch of its Mobile Banking service marking the start of an exciting new era of innovative banking services in Oman.
The mobile banking app is available for free download to mobile users using Android and for Apple IOS users.
Named "Best Retail Bank in Oman for 2013", this state-of-the-art mobile service is a testament to the strides BankDhofar has been making by reinventing banking convenience and setting a whole new standards for quality customer experience in the industry.
During the press conference, Mr. Tony Mahoney - CEO of BankDhofar, stated: "Today is a great milestone for us. The launch of our new mobile banking will not only provide our customers with a new channel to do their banking transactions but it will transform the way they bank. Customer will be able to conduct their banking transaction using their mobile phones when and where they choose using BankDhofar's mobile banking app. The bank ensured ease of use and navigation and richness of services launched. In addition, to accounts and cards enquiries and transactions, such as transfers between own accounts and third party transfers, statements viewing, and cheque book requisition, customers will also be able to make utility payments, and mobile top-ups.
BankDhofar mobile banking will also be a channel through which customers can get information on Exchange Rates, latest offers from the bank, product and services information, as well as serving as a window to contact the bank 24 hours a day. Information on prayer timings and BankDhofar branch and ATM/CDM network location across Oman will also be available for customers' convenience in mobile banking.
Realizing the importance of offering a personalized mobile experience to its customer, BankDhofar enabled many setting change options allowing customers to change their user ID, password, language settings, mobile number, email ID, login mode, and favourite serfavourite services in a secure and customer friendly way.
