Buy-side firms can lower trading costs by measuring investment strategies and broker performance more effectively in one system.

This integration expands Charles River's TCA capability by embedding advanced analytics within Charles River IMS, allowing for greater transparency into the performance of portfolio managers, traders, brokers and venues. The offering includes pre-trade and post-trade analytics that support detailed evaluation of trading costs and trends, directly in the Charles River IMS.

"Charles River IMS is at the core of our client's investment process, essential to all stages of the trade life-cycle and the book of record for order history," said Des Gallacher, Vice President, Product Management, Charles River. "By introducing deeply embedded TCA across the workflow, we are able to provide traders and portfolio managers with critical analysis, to help improve investment decisions and ultimately reduce the cost of trading."

"We're excited to partner with Charles River and believe their clients will benefit immensely from the addition of our TCA solution, TAP (Trade Analysis Program)," said Ethan Levinson, President, SJ Levinson & Sons. "TAP will arm portfolio managers and traders with the ability to effortlessly implement pre-trade strategies and analyze post-trade results, with extraordinary granularity across a wide range of time increments and perspectives, allowing them to make better and more informed trading decisions to maximize alpha."
