CardEase Mobile meets the MasterCard Mobile POS Best Practices criteria and is now recognized as best-in-class.
Launched in 2012, the MasterCard mPOS Program is a global initiative that provides guidance and best practice advice to mPOS solution providers and merchants, ensuring simple and secure transactions when consumers use their debit, credit and prepaid cards to pay merchants that use these devices.
Peter Turner, CEO at CreditCall commented, "Meeting the MasterCard best practice requirements for mPOS technology is a big step for CreditCall asmobile payment acceptance is revolutionizing the commerce landscape for both merchants and consumers. Small businesses that were previously forced to operate on a cash, check and invoice only basis are now turning to mobile to increase sales and broaden their customer base. Meanwhile, larger retailers are exploring ways to use the technology to enhance the retail and payment experience in-store, whether by simplifying the payment process or taking the opportunity to add value through integrated loyalty and reward programs."
CreditCall's CardEase Mobile was the world's first Mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) solution to support EMV Chip and PIN transactions 'on the go'. Security is of utmost importance for sensitive cardholder data, and features heavily in the MasterCard mPOS Best Practices criteria. CardEase Mobile encrypts all cardholder data to ensure it cannot be compromised at any point during the transaction, as well providing a PIN pad that is EMV and Secure Reading and Exchange Data (SRED) approved.
