Auriga, among the main European suppliers of software and solutions for multichannel banking and mobile payments, announces the opening of its second international branch in Paris, France.
This new opening follows the internationalisation process that has been undertaken in recent years and has already been consolidated with the inauguration last year of the first international office in London, at the heart of the City and European financial markets.
Heading up the new French branch will be Thierry Crespel, newly appointed Francophone EMEA Sales Manager for Auriga. He will be responsible for business development in Francophone markets and strengthening the company's international image, building on its already consolidated market leadership in Italy.
According to the research firm RBR, in the multivendor solutions and multichannel banking and ATMs sector, which has always been highly competitive and sought after by leading international players, Auriga has a 64% market share in Italy , 13% in Western Europe and 3.7% at a global level.
Thierry Crespel has 12 years experience in the banking technology sector, having held important roles in leading industry companies, the last of which was at NCR as Global Account Director for self service banking solutions, aimed at international companies such as Crédit Agricole and BNP Paribas. He previously held the same position within Wincor Nixdorf where he was responsible for, among others, Société Générale and BPCE Group.
"Our continued commitment to invest and decision to open a new branch in Paris stems from our results and industry research showing the willingness of the international banking sector to adopt multichannel banking solutions, such as our WWS solution. We are very glad to have Thierry Crespel on board who brings with him a wealth of experience, strengthening our international sales force and representing Auriga in this new venture", stated Vincenzo Fiore, CEO of Auriga.
"It is with great pleasure that I join Auriga, a decision made as I admire the expertise and abilities of the company and recognise the value of its innovative solutions. I look forward to contributing to the international growth of the company and working as part of the Auriga team", commented Thierry Crespel.
