"We are excited to be partnering with Moven. They're a market leader dedicated to helping people easily manage their personal financial economy from their mobile device," said Payveris President Fran Duggan. "Our services will be fully integrated with Moven's offerings and seamless for their customers."
The ability of Payveris' bill payment and money transfer services to work across multiple platforms (PC, tablets and phones) allows Moven to leverage the dramatic increase in the use of mobile phones for managing personal finances. According to the Pew Research Center, 32 percent of U.S. adults, or 35 percent of cell phone owners, bank using their mobile phones. This type of digital banking is on the rise. In 2011, only 18 percent of cell phone owners said they used their phone to check their balance or transact business with a bank.
"We are impressed with the ability of Payveris' bill pay applications to work within our unique prepaid card infrastructure and mobile platform," said Moven COO Ramy Serageldin. "Leveraging the Payveris API interface allows us to create an optimal user experience for our customers."
