The CoE will provide implementation and customer support services for select SmartStream TLM Corona clients and regional distributors in the Africa, Bangladesh, India, Middle East and South East Asia markets.

As SmartStream's TLM Corona customer base continues to expand in these high-growth markets, access to a pool of highly qualified but flexible resources is a significant benefit. The CoE will enable SmartStream's customers and distribution partners to utilise a combination of SmartStream and Echelon resources for solution implementations and first line support services.

Maroof Ayub, CEO, Echelon, comments, "I am delighted that SmartStream has selected Echelon as the partner for this Corona Centre of Excellence. Having worked with SmartStream for a number of years, I believe the team here has an unparalleled understanding of the TLM Corona solution suite combined with the required level of technical skill and mobility. The joint offering of SmartStream's market-leading solutions and Echelon's experience of project implementations provides a unique proposition for the local market".

Alastair McGill, Executive Vice President, Business Development and Alliances at SmartStream Technologies, adds, "At SmartStream we strive to find innovative new ways to reduce total cost of ownership for our clients whilst continuing to improve customer service. This objective of this new Centre of Excellence is to offer our Corona clients a range of implementation and support options depending on their timescales and budget. Echelon was the obvious choice as a partner; its team of SmartStream trained TLM Corona staff come with a background of providing professional services to many of the financial services organisations across the region. We have already deployed the Echelon CoE staff into client projects alongside our own staff and we look forward to working alongside them on many more projects".

TLM Corona is a SWIFT Certified, modular application that addresses the reconciliation and exception management needs of institutions of all sizes. It provides greater transaction management control whilst its out-of-the-box functionality enables firms to significantly reduce their time to benefit.
