Beauchamp clients can now connect the FundManager (or Equity FundManager) portfolio management system directly to Omgeo Central Trade Manager (Omgeo CTM) for automated trade matching and a streamlined middle/back office.
Omgeo CTM is Omgeo's straight-through processing solution for automating back-office trade processing, offering immediate access to Omgeo's global community of 6,000 brokers for central trade matching and settlement notification. FundManager (or Equity FundManager) connects to Omgeo CTM via the Message Translation Interface (MTI). Through this connection, client files are mapped to and from Omgeo CTM XML, and trade details are processed in "batch" mode.
By using FundManager (or Equity FundManager) with Omgeo CTM, Beauchamp clients can further minimize operational cost, as well as the scope for human error in the trade processing cycle, and further maximize accuracy and efficiency, along with auditability. Users can feed substantial volumes of trades into Omgeo CTM via FundManager (or Equity FundManager), match them automatically with broker execution and trade details, manage exceptions and automatically update the status of trades in FundManager (or Equity FundManager) prior to reporting them to their prime brokers and administrators.
