Founders Federal Credit Union deploys Fiserv Corillian and Mobiliti

Fiserv, Inc., a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that Founders Federal Credit Union (Founders), a $1.6 billion credit union headquartered in Lancaster, S.C., has expanded its relationship with Fiserv in order to enhance its members' digital banking experience.

Founders has deployed Corillian Online(R) and Mobiliti(TM) from Fiserv to deliver feature-rich online, mobile and tablet banking services.

Founders began the process of updating its digital banking capabilities by surveying members about which services they would like to use.

"Founders Federal Credit Union is dedicated to helping our members understand and gain control of their finances," said Bruce Brumfield, CEO, Founders Federal Credit Union. "Having surveyed our members, we saw a demand for the latest digital banking capabilities to help them better manage their financial lives. While we serve a largely rural membership, they still expect the latest technology, and working with Fiserv enables us to meet those expectations."

Responding to member feedback, the credit union added new online banking capabilities through Corillian Online, integrating bill payment and person-to-person payment access directly into the online banking user interface. There are also plans to add personal financial management tools with AllData(R) PFM from Fiserv. This integration will enable members to conveniently budget, track spending, review account information, transfer money and make payments from a single page.

Founders has also deployed Mobiliti to enable mobile banking and payments.
With secure access to financial information via three secure modes, SMS text messaging, mobile browser and downloadable mobile applications for
Android(TM) and iPhone(R), Founders' members can monitor account activity, locate branches and ATMs, receive alerts, transfer funds and pay bills on the go. The credit union plans to add Mobile Source Capture(TM) from Fiserv so members can deposit checks in their bank account by snapping a picture with their mobile phones. A dedicated tablet banking app will be available to customers in the near future.

Because Founders is deploying the ASP models of Corillian Online and Mobiliti, the credit union can bring new digital banking capabilities to market more quickly and more easily manage product upgrades over time.

"Through investment in its digital banking channels, Founders Federal Credit Union is improving the way its members bank," said Erich Litch, division president, Digital Channels, Fiserv. "By enhancing the user experience, Founders is fostering deeper relationships and positioning the credit union as members' primary financial institution."

Founders Federal Credit Union has been a partner of Fiserv for more than 20 years, using Spectrum(R) for account processing and CheckFree(R) RXP(R) for bill payment. By adding an array of Fiserv solutions, Founders can ensure its members will have access to consistent information and a coherent user experience across all digital channels.
