One of the largest and fastest developing banks in the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia), Bank BTA-Kazan, has launched Internet banking based on OpenWay's WAY4 platform. The solution is also technologically ready to implement the mobile banking channel.

Internet services are available to the bank's personal customers. In their personal virtual office, they can view their card information, request transaction history, receive statements, make transfers between cards, pay for various services, manage security settings, contact customer support, and use many other services.

Moreover, the WAY4 Web Banking solution allows the bank to segment and group clients into various categories in order to improve their service. It is expected that as Internet technologies penetrate Tatarstan, demand for this modern and usable service will constantly increase.

The next step of the OpenWay and Bank BTA-Kazan partnership will be to launch mobile banking, which is currently available on java phones in a pilot mode. Development of applications for iOS and Android smartphones is planned for the nearest future.

"We are pleased that BTA-Kazan, one of the most effective and innovative banks in the region, has chosen our web and mobile banking solutions. We value our joint work with the bank team – we have implemented many interesting projects together. We are certain that the web banking solution will allow the bank's clients to gain interesting experience using the new banking services and will help the bank itself to become even closer to its clients", commented Dmitry Dovgal, Deputy Director of Business Development, OpenWay Service.

"The bank always strives to keep up with times, applying all possible technological resources in its work. Implementation of a new remote banking service system is intended to provide our clients with maximum convenience and comfort of service, significantly saving time and increasing efficiency", remarked Ruslan Alimov, Chairman of the Board at Bank BTA-Kazan.
