Organisations can clearly identify the benefits of the IT investment and how their business can capitalise on the increased efficiencies and security improvements.

B2 Group's smart use of technology to enhance 'Service Oriented Architecture' capabilities on GTS now means that each business process, such as a payments channel between the bank and a particular corporate client, is decoupled from any other, obviating the need for lengthy regression testing associated with traditional systems and enabling much faster take-up of new business opportunities.

"We recognise that technology needs to do more than keep pace with the dynamic demands of our clients and indeed the ever increasing challenges in the business environment in which we all operate. The B2 Group continues to invest in our flagship GTS platform so that we can provide our users with peace-of-mind that investment in our solution will deliver quantifiable ROI today and is a solid foundation for the growth and expansion of our clients' business into the future," comments Phil Boland, Chief Executive Officer, The B2 Group.

Additional benefits for GTS platform, helps users in the following ways:

• Using an industry standard application server and improved workflow, installation and enhancements are easier - again, faster time to market for new products and services;

• changes to any part of the system can be very specific and do not require complex and time consuming regression testing - maintenance simplified and more cost effective;

• GTS uses a proxy server in the DMZ to act as a staging post prior to sensitive data entering core systems -. enhanced security; and

• hyper-efficient use of clustered "Cloud" environments - improved scalability.

"These recent enhancements are delighting our customers and we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the business benefits to anyone who is challenged by integration issues and the need to streamo sto sto streamline their business, particularly in the areas of client on-boarding, payment processing and STP connectivity, not only across their enterprise but also with their customers, partners and counterparties. " adds Phil Boland.
