Reuters DataScope available over Linedata's Icon fund management system
Reuters (LSE: RTR, NASDAQ: RTRSY), the global information company, today announced it will make Reuters DataScope, its complete reference and historical data solution, available through Linedata Services, a provider of front to back office asset management systems.

This makes Reuters DataScope's pre-checked, quality prices, exchange rates and index values available to customers using Linedata Services' Icon fund management system, which spans real-time investment accounting, portfolio valuation, collective investment pricing and management/client reporting.

Pete Hudson, Head of Product Marketing for Linedata Services (UK) Ltd, said: "We were seeing increasing demand from our Icon customers for a choice of additional data feeds, for example to facilitate sourcing data for different assets from different vendors, or for data verification. We welcome Reuters as the first vendor to achieve certification with the DataScope service."
Reuters DataScope interfaces to Linedata Services' Icon solution via its' Data Integration Platform (DIP), and is a fully accredited partner in Linedata Services' Accredited Data Vendor Partner Programme.
In future, Linedata Services and Reuters hope to extend the relationship by jointly providing a facility for corporate actions and static asset master data.
