Competitors who sign up to take part in the Tour de Trading will get full access to over 30,000 instruments on the SaxoTrader platforms: SaxoTrader, SaxoWebTrader and SaxoTrader Apps for mobile and tablets. Trading options include 160 FX crosses, futures, options and CFDs.

The competition starting on July 1 through to July 19 is running alongside the Tour de France that kicks off on June 29, through to July 21. Traders can join for free at any stage and Saxo Bank will publish daily results of the leading traders locally and globally on the competition website.

Each week, the global trader with the biggest gain in total amount will receive a prize, ranging from Saxo-Tinkoff Windstopper Jackets to Saxo-Tinkoff Bodyfit Pro Team Jerseys. The highest-ranking participant overall from select regions will win a V.I.P experience at the finale of La Vuelta later in the year, including a ride in the sports directors car during one of the last laps in Madrid. The regions included are Denmark, Spain, UK, Middle East, Italy, France and South Africa. The global winner of the competition will receive a piece of Tour de France history: Alberto Contador's Tour de France bike, a Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL4.

French-Irish rider Nicolas Roche features in the latest saxocycling.com film

In addition, Saxo Bank today launched a new film of the Saxo Cycling Film Project,, featuring French-Irish rider Nicolas Roche describing his ambitions and support for Alberto Contador in the upcoming Tour de France.

In the new saxocycling.com film, French-speaking Nicolas Roche talks about training, dedication and knowledge. He joined Team saxo-Tinkoff this year and says he wanted to try something 100% different. He says: "For me, its's not really a step back, its simply to change perspective. Also to help a rider like Alberto in the Tour, is a great opportunity for me to learn".

The project which was launched earlier in 2013 consists of 10 short films, highlights riders and prominent personnel from the Team Squad and is designed to show the similarities between trading and cycling.
