SeeBeyond (Nasdaq:SBYN), provider of the world's first fully Integrated Composite Application Network Suite (SeeBeyond ICAN Suite) for advanced integration and composite application solutions, today announced it has teamed with document management and integration services provider Braintribe and financial services consulting firm Teconomic to offer a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based solution offering to the financial sector.
This modular offering, Content Service Platform for Finance, will allow banks, insurers and financial services providers to access the content held in their disparate applications and easily develop support for new business processes.
This standards- and services-based solution offering unites leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Enterprise Content Integration (ECI) technologies to enable the rapid development of new business services and processes by leveraging existing IT infrastructure investments. With the collective solution offering, there is no need for organizations to replace existing enterprise applications or security systems, and there are no time-consuming and costly migration efforts needed.
The solution offering includes integration services, system services and Business Process Management (BPM) capabilities leveraging the SeeBeyond ICAN Suite. The Content Services module -- which covers standard ECM and content integration functions, methods and expanded functions such as lifecycle and records management, and Multilingual Services -- are based on the Content Service Platform from Braintribe. Consulting services provided by Teconomic will include the respective sector-specific business process expertise, which is closely linked to customer-centric processes and applications.
"This will be the first automated solution in the market which combines a platform for integration, business process management and the development of composite applications with the benefits of a modern ECM and content integration system," added Stefan Ebner, CEO, Braintribe Group. "For customers this means they will benefit from a fully integrated solution with fully integrated core processes."
"A key benefit of this solution offering is the fact that banks, insurance and financial services providers can initially implement restricted scope projects with the knowledge that the solution may be easily expanded at any time," said Ian Hill, senior vice president and general manager of EMEA for SeeBeyond.
"This offering matches our holistic approach to the design of business and data architectures," said Rudolf Gunz, CEO at Teconomic. "With the Content Service Platform for Finance, business processes may be modelled simply and at the same time very effectively."
SeeBeyond, Braintribe and Teconomic will be presenting the solution offering at a number of upcoming events. More information about the events can be accessed via the companies' corporate website event pages.
