Auriga's PlainPay opens its doors to MyBank, the innovative online payment platform promoted by EBA CLEARING, the pan-European provider of payment solutions in the private sector, owned by 64 major banks operating in Europe.
PlainPay is Auriga's all-in-one multifunctional mobile payments app, QR code-based, which enables users to perform most retail banking operations, including cash withdrawals at ATMs without using debit/credit cards, acting as the ultimate transaction facilitator.
In the new version of the proprietary app, which has been unveiled in Berlin in occasion of EBAday 2013 (21st and 22nd May), Auriga has made available, amongst other digital payment systems, a new distribution network that promises to establish itself quickly in the market as a new reference standard, thanks to the convenience of its use and to its high levels of security.
The innovation will enable end users of PlainPay to carry out instant SEPA payments directly from their smartphone, without needing to insert any personal or sensitive information, thanks to the direct connection to the users home banking. Furthermore, PlainPay users will be able to choose the MyBank channel, at all times, from amongst other available payment options within the same user interface.
The innovation was created in light of the close collaboration that Auriga has with EBA CLEARING. This collaboration, which started last year has led to the company today to become official partner of MyBank, as "routing service and validation service provider".
Auriga will specifically support client banks with the adoption and management of the new payment system, resolving any problems linked to its integration and facilitating its fast diffusion.
With the integration of the new service, Auriga further strengthens the nature of PlainPay's virtual wallet, which is able to place in the hands of users mobile payments, on par with other device functions and innovative banking services, such as cardless cash withdrawals.
PlainPay answers the needs of an ever more connected world, with all the simplicity of a mobile app at your fingers tips. It has evolved to be used today as a real "cross-channel enabler" by both the bank and the end user, particularly on mobile, Internet, ATM, and branch channels. This is due to the fact that it guarantees homogenous and high standards of security along with the possibility of strong authentication of the client, at all times.
