First Trade customers can now deposit checks, pay bills, schedule payments, view balances and transfer funds from their iPads in addition to their phones. It is the latest technology rollout for First Trade, which also provides a comprehensive online banking experience and mobile banking through the FT Mobile smartphone app originally introduced in June 2012. An enhanced version of FT Mobile for Android™ and iPhone® is now available, in addition to the free iPad app which can be found in the Apple App Store.

The user interfaces for both the iPad and phone banking apps are clean, intuitive and tailored to viewing on either a small or large screen. Deposits can be made anytime, anywhere by simply snapping a photo of the check. Bills can be paid while waiting in line for coffee, and a funds transfer from checking to savings takes just a few screen taps.

The new apps meet the evolving needs of First Trade's customer base, which has been quick to adopt the Bank's digital services. First Trade introduced mobile deposit capabilities in February 2012 and has seen the number of monthly mobile deposits jump 60 percent and the total monthly deposit dollar amount increase by 130 percent since September 2012.

First Trade developed the FT Mobile iPad app with FIS Global, the world's largest global provider dedicated to banking and payments technologies. First Trade is one of the first U.S. community banks banks to introduce an iPad app with FIS.
