Montréal Exchange launches futures contracts on trading simulator

Montréal Exchange Inc. (MX), a wholly-owned subsidiary of TMX Group Limited and Canada's derivatives exchange, today launched futures contracts on its Trading Simulator.

The futures contracts that are available on the Trading Simulator include: BAX, CGZ, CGF, CGB, LGB, SXF, SXM, SCF, SXA, SXB, SXH and SXY.

"We are pleased to now offer the full suite of Canadian derivatives products on the Trading Simulator," said Alain Miquelon, President and CEO, Montréal Exchange and Group Head of Derivatives, TMX Group. "Our goal is to enhance investors' knowledge of both options and futures, and provide a tool that best represents the Canadian derivatives market."

Launched in September 2012, the virtual trading platform is an online and smartphone-compatible tool that provides retail investors with access to the complete MX derivatives product offering. It enables investors to execute both options and futures trading strategies.
