Barclays selects Experian's CheetahMail for e-mail marketing

Barclays has selected CheetahMail, an Experian company, as its e-mail delivery and management solution.
The UK-based financial services group will use CheetahMail to improve the delivery and measurement of e-mail marketing campaigns across a number of business areas, including retail and corporate banking.
CheetahMail emerged as Barclays' preferred e-mail marketing services provider after the company completed a strategic review of its e-mail marketing requirements. CheetahMail will allow Barclays to deliver e-mail campaigns at scale, effectively, while an advanced reporting and analysis system will also allow Barclays to accurately gauge each e-mail marketing campaign's performance.
Alistair Greenbank, Head of Online Marketing and Content for Barclays, stated: "The level of sophistication offered by CheetahMail will enhance the relevance and quality of our e-mail activity. The ability to monitor the effectiveness of e-mail communications is an important change for us."
