This contract has been won through a cooperation agreement between Vipera and the Italy office of a leading multinational professional services firm.

The project is based on Motif, Vipera's flexible and extensive mobile banking platform, which will allow the bank to offer its customers full access to their bank account details enabling them to make credit card and utility bill payments and to instantly transfer funds anywhere in the world. The project plan calls for a rapid roll-out with implementation in the early part of 2013 and offers the bank a path to further functionality available within the Motif suite.

This bank was one of the first to launch a mobile banking application and this switch to investing in Motif represents its second generation implementation, opting now for a fully structured platform.

Commenting on the contract win Marco Casartelli, Chief Executive of Vipera said "this contract demonstrates how Vipera continues to develop its position in the international financial services markets. We are able to deliver our highly recognised product offering to leading institutions. We look forward to assisting the bank in developing critical mobile services for its customers."
