R&Q's Lloyd's Managing Agency (RQMA), part of Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings plc, has just implemented Sequel's Eclipse Underwriting software to form part of Syndicate 1991's operating platform which launched in early 2013.

Sequel has deployed and tested the new software and it has trained RQMA's staff ahead of the Syndicate launch. Sequel will continue to support RQMA with an Eclipse Underwriting managed service as part of the post launch support.

CEO of RQMA, Robin McCoy says: "We chose Eclipse as it can process manual transactions as well as electronic bureau messages as a single system which is important for our new Syndicate. The system is intuitive to use and is logically set out. We worked closely with Sequel to meet a tight go live deadline. Their people are helpful and experienced in our business so our requirements were quickly understood. We look forward to continuing the excellent working relationship we have developed with Sequel".

Michael Graham, Sales and Marketing Director of Sequel says "A proven product, speed of implementation, quality delivery and efficient, compliant systems are the keys to a successful Lloyd's Syndicate launch. It is significant that RQMA have chosen to launch Syndicate 1991 using Sequel's powerful software as a key part of their overall operations".

RQMA's Lloyd's Syndicate 1991 will specialise in the underwriting of delegated authority business.
