Fiserv (FISV), a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that Bremer Bank, an $8.1 billion bank headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., has selected Mobiliti as its mobile banking, payments and alerting engine.

With Mobiliti from Fiserv, Bremer Bank customers will be able to securely access their financial information via their choice of SMS (text messaging), mobile browser and downloadable applications for Android™ and iPhone.

Mobiliti will deliver a full range of mobile banking and payments capabilities including checking balances, locating ATMs, receiving alerts, paying bills and transferring funds. Bremer also plans to add a tablet version of Mobiliti in a future phase of its mobile banking service rollout.

"Delivering a feature-rich, easy-to-use mobile banking service to our customers is a strategic priority for Bremer Bank," said Deb Bauman, group president, Bremer Financial Services. "The mobile channel is evolving rapidly and we wanted a partner who could help us meet the demands of our customers while also providing us with operational flexibility and efficiencies.

Fiserv has been a long-time partner of ours and they have proven their commitment to innovation in digital financial services. We believe the Fiserv solution will enable us to deliver a comprehensive mobile banking and payments solution that will be a key differentiator for Bremer Bank."

With Mobiliti, Bremer is focused on delivering a consistent experience across the online and mobile channels. Mobiliti will seamlessly integrate with Bremer's existing online banking and bill pay systems, Corillian Online and CheckFree RXP from Fiserv.

With the adoption of smartphones continuously on the increase, Bremer Bank wanted to offer a comprehensive triple-play mobile solution with increased functionality and additional points of entry. In addition to providing three mobile access modes, Mobiliti includes a robust alerting engine, enabling consumers to more closely manage their finances by signing up for alerts that notify them of important account-related activity such as low balances or large withdrawals.

"Mobile has grown into its own unique channel with significant consumer adoption," said Erich Litch, division president, Digital Channels, Fiserv. "Bremer Bank is taking a strategic approach in meeting the evolving needs of its customers. Mobiliti will provide Bremer with a foundation to deliver the right mix of functionality and ease-of-use for their customers' mobile banking and payment needs today, with the flexibility to grow as those needs evolve."
