Users can now obtain quotes and view streaming charts for stocks listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange - Canada's venture capital marketplace - as well as a host of Canadian indices. ADVFN's offering also includes prices and charting for The Montreal Derivatives Exchange and The Montreal Options Exchange.

Anyone using the site can view Level One data including bid, offer, highs, lows and current prices along with traded volumes for Toronto Stock Exchange stocks, such as The Bank of Montreal (TSE:BMO), TSX Venture Exchange stocks such as Uganda Gold Mining Ltd (TSX:UGM) and derivatives and options. They can also track indices including everything from the S&P/Tsx Composite Index to the S&P/Tsx Midcap Index Fund. ADVFN users can view their desired Canadian stocks and indices on their monitor pages, add them into their portfolios alongside their other investments and set up SMS and email alerts for Canadian equities.

The site's FOREX section already includes real-time Canadian currency prices.

"By offering coverage of the liquid Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture, which includes companies active in mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, technology and financial services; as well as Canadian options and derivatives, ADVFN is further opening up the global marketplace for its users," said Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN.

"Canadian equities are high risk, high reward and the market is well known for highly speculative mining stocks, something of great interest to our increasingly sophisticated private investor user-base. The Canadian exchanges are an integral part of our already comprehensive Northern American package. They are vital for further tapping into our burgeoning US market," he continued.

The Winnipeg commodities exchange will also be available on ADVFN at the end of March.
