Linux is the latest platform supported by SWIFT in addition to MS Windows, Oracle Solaris and IBM AIX. Two months ago SWIFT launched SAA for Linux RHEL in order to face an increasing demand from many of the largest banks that have migrated onto Linux to benefit from a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to other platforms. SAA is SWIFT's prime messaging interface designed to connect business applications to SWIFT messaging services. Linux is a Unix-like computer operating system assembled under the model of free and open source software development and distribution.

"For the past 12 years, FircoSoft's solutions have supported Linux, therefore we had the expertise to be the first to quickly and easily address the request for SAA on Linux, and create availability in a very short time," said Thibault Sabathe, Technical Director of FircoSoft. "Our organization is committed to providing frequent solution updates to address regulatory changes and new business requirements. We are very pleased with the most recent success."
